The Parent-Child Mother Goose Program Montreal

A Community Branch of a National Program

Created and based in Toronto, the Parent-Child Mother Goose Program has numerous branches across Canada, and  beyond!

The program is intended for parents accompanied by their children from 0 to 3 years old, and supports language development and socialization in young children. The Mother Goose program  also promotes the socialization of parents and strengthens the emotional ties between parents and children through the teaching of rhymes, songs and stories from the oral tradition.

Typically, the program offers live weekly 75-minute sessions in different community locations in Montreal. All sessions are led by certified and specially trained teachers. The program also supports parents with the education of their children while preparing the groundwork for language learning and reading skills.  Families who participate in the program are encouraged to attend weekly sessions on a regular basis.

The program is offered three semesters a year, from September through June.

Thanks to the generosity of our partners, the program is offered free of charge to all families.
Thank you for helping us spread the word.  Everyone is welcome.
